I love all things about supporting women to go for it!!  I am a 19x world firefighter champion.  I was also a high - level hockey player, and now I coach female hockey players to become strong and confident both on and off the ice. 

My fitness & training company, Fit By Fire,  was created to support women to achieve their fitness goals, and to fund female athletes so they could focus on training, not their day jobs. 
I give 100% in everything I do, and am committed to the success of every single person I help. 

My goal isn’t to get every woman to become a firefighter, nor do I only train firefighters… Instead, my intention, my desire, my drive, is to lead every-day-women to know they can do anything! To spark a fire under their butt to get into action, and to really go after their fitness goals.  I know how powerful it is when you feel confident and strong in your body.

  Q:  Amber- What if I am NOT in shape, at all?  Will I be able to hang?
A- yes, this weekend is for beginners and beyond. You will get the foundations for where you are, and you will see where you could be in the next year or so.

Q: Amber- is there a money-back-guarantee or can I cancel?
A - No, unfortunately not.  You can NOT cancel last minute either because you get a little scared. Once you have paid, you’re in! (you’ll thank me later for not giving you a way out).

Q: Amber- am I guaranteed to lose weight this weekend?
A - Just to be clear, this is not a “weight-loss-weekend”.  It’s actually more of a confidence-gain weekend.  You will clear negative drama and stress, learn new skills, develop new tools and have an actual plan for yourself. Some MAY actually shed a few pounds just from eating healthy, being outside, and getting their body moving- BUT that’s not typical.  The focus is to take all that you learn and implement it into your life moving forward. WHICH could mean weight loss and muscle growth in the weeks to follow. So, no there is no guarantee of weight loss during the weekend

Q: Amber - Do I have to share a bed with a stranger? What’s the sleeping sitch like?
A - So, we are in a gorgeous cottage in the Haliburton area.  This cottage (and accompanying bunkie) comfortably sleeps 8.  If you bring a friend and share the queen size bed, you get a discount. ($50 off each). Otherwise each person will have their own bed.

Q: Amber - What do I have to bring?
A - Bring YOU and your clothing for 2 days. You’ll need workout clothes and comfy clothes. No need for dressup this weekend. We are chilin’ and roughin it! Ha.   You should also bring your bathing suit, a towel and toiletries. Oh, and your A-game.  You'll wanna pack that too.
  All else will be provided.

Q: Amber - I have food allergies. Can you accommodate?
A - if you let us know ahead of time, we can do our best to accommodate everyone and their food requests.  The menu will be healthy, but you can let us know what sensitivities or allergies you have now, so we can prepare for you accordingly, thanks!

Q: Amber - I'd love to come and bring my 18 year old daughter. What is the age limit?
A - This program is open to women who are ready for support and change. Women who are willing to put in the work, and be coachable. If your daughter wants to actually come (you're not forcing her) and she's ready to work, then yes she can come!  No children please. (over 18 only)
